Oil Painting Foundation (offered in the San Jose studio) is designed for 7-10 year old students focusing on building rudimentary painting techniques, learning how to handle painting tools (i.e. brushes, palette knives, etc.), and being familiar with color theories, composition, brushwork, etc. all with oil paints.

We strongly recommend students either having prior drawing experience or taking Art Foundation concurrently.

Digital Anime (Offered through Fremont, Mountain View, Cupertino, San Jose, Belmont Campuses) have become a staple in young people’s literary consumption and they continue to become more sophisticated not only in art but in storytelling as well. Many modern comics like March are now considered literary works of art in the same vein as classic novels like to Kill a Mockingbird. This gives us an opportunity to use the popularity of comics and manga to introduce many students to the fundamentals of drawing and to unlock their hidden passion for visual storytelling.

Animation (Only offered in Cupertino campus) has become a powerful pillar of contemporary visual culture, playing a vital role across industries such as film, television, advertising, game development, tech, and web design. From blockbuster animated films and immersive video games to motion graphics in advertising, animation continues to shape how we communicate, entertain, and experience information.

This course is not only fun and engaging, but also introduces students to professional digital animation tools and software, helping them build practical skills that align with current industry trends. Students will explore the fundamentals of animation—such as movement, timing, and storytelling—while developing their creativity and digital fluency. By the end of the course, students will have gained both artistic insight and technical confidence, making it an ideal entry point into the world of modern visual storytelling.
